What does a freight forwarder in Thailand actually do for me?
A forwarder arranges the movement of your goods instead of leaving you to deal with each party separately: it books space with the carrier, prepares and checks the shipping documents, coordinates customs clearance with a licensed broker, and organises trucking at origin and destination. TGF plans the route and mode, quotes it in writing with the charges itemised, tracks the cargo, and flags booking, document or customs problems before the shipment sits at a port or airport.
Do you handle both importing into Thailand and shipping goods abroad?
Both directions. Inbound work covers import clearance, tariff classification questions and delivery to your site in Thailand; outbound work covers export documentation, licence checks where the product needs one, and the sea, air or cross-border road leg to your buyer. How do I get a freight quote, and what do you need from me?
Send the commodity, the gross weight and dimensions, how the goods are packed, the origin and destination addresses, the date you need delivery by, and the Incoterm if it is already agreed. With that we can price the shipment mode by mode, so a sea option and an air option are comparable on the same cargo. The quotation is written and itemised — freight leg, origin charges, destination charges — rather than a single lump figure.
Which transport modes and lanes do you cover?
Sea freight as FCL and LCL, air freight, and cross-border trucking to overland destinations, arranged individually or as one door-to-door chain. Documented lanes run between Thailand and its major trading partners in Asia, Europe and North America, in both directions; the routes hub lists every lane that has its own page, and a destination not listed there can still be quoted.
Can you take over a shipment that is already booked or already stuck?
Yes. Send what you have — the booking confirmation, the invoice and packing list, and whatever the current forwarder or the port has told you — and we will establish where the shipment stands before proposing anything. Most stuck shipments are a document mismatch, a classification question or a missing approval rather than a transport problem, and which of those it is changes both what can be done and how quickly.
