What is typically not included in a published rate?
Local charges at origin and destination, duties, taxes and any surcharge that is not explicitly listed with the rate. A written quotation itemises what applies to your specific shipment so there is no ambiguity before you book.
How long does a published rate stay valid?
Each rate shows its own valid-until date, and it stops being shown here once that date passes. Because carrier pricing moves, treat the date as the latest point the estimate can be relied on — confirm with a quotation for anything booked close to or after it.
